This paper will be written for a research class. It is considered the first portion of an entire research paper (we refer to this paper as paper 1 in the documents below). This paper is to be written in APA 7 format. Below I have provided documents that give the following:
– Paper instructions
– Example of what the paper should look like (please read the side notes)
– A checklist to help you see what you need
– A PowerPoint presentation explaining the details of the study (on slide #74, you will find the hypothesis of the study. You may copy and paste this into the writing without a problem)
– The sources you will use (these are prior studies that we must cite in the paper, there are only two)
– The data that was collected during the research: three different surveys (SRE1, SRE2, SRE3)
– A PowerPoint presentation explaining how to use APA 7, if you need it.
If you read the instructions carefully, you will see that this paper only requires the title page, an introduction paragraph, two body paragraphs (explaining the two prior studies/sources), a conclusion paragraph, and the references page. Please read everything carefully and do not hesitate to contact me

There are a number of structured approach interventions in addition to TEACCH, such as, precision teaching and direct instruction. All of these methods continue to be researched as their efficacy is established for use in the treatment plans for students with ASD.
In this Assignment, you will consider the information presented in the case study to design a structured approach intervention to address the target behavior.
Consider the following scenario:
You have been hired as a consultant at an elementary school that is trying to develop an inclusive educational program for five prospective students, all of whom have been diagnosed with ASD. All students have reported difficulties with social communication, attention, and executive functioning.
Based on the scenario:
Design a structured approach intervention for the target behaviors described in the scenario.
Explain why you believe it would be appropriate to use this structured approach intervention at this point in time.
Be sure to support your Assignment with specific references to behavior-analytic theory and research. In addition to the Learning Resources, search the internet for peer-reviewed articles to support your Assignment. Use proper APA format and citations, including those in the Learning Resources.

Reflect on the class discussion of the views and approaches to conducting research. Consider: Was there a particular view you identified with most? What do you think about the presence of a true reality (ontology)? What about our ability to identify and know that truth (epistemology)? How essential do you think these views might be when conducting research?

Walker, M. (2019, April). Sleep is your superpower [Video]. TED2019. https://www.ted.com/talks/matt_walker_sleep_is_your_superpower
For ESSAY:
It is a known fact that sleep is important in order for us to thrive in our environment. There is research that seeks to understand how sleep affects our day-to-day activities.
Task:
Find a research article that describes one of the negative effects of being sleep deprived.
Then write a report about this study, their methods, participants, and findings.
Describe the study’s limitations as well as any future applications.
In the conclusion of the paper:
You should indicate whether these findings have ever affected you, or someone you know,
and what steps were taken to remedy the situation.
Here are some tips for reviewing a research paper. Follow these tips when you are reviewing any article in this class:
(1) From the introduction:
What is the general topic that the article is addressing?
What is the purpose of the research described in this article?
What is the author(s) hypothesis/hypotheses?
(2) Briefly describe the methods:
Who were the participants?
What did they have to do in this study?
What were the measures that were collected?
How was it collected?
(3) In general, what were the results of this study? (Don’t use numbers or describe statistics).
(4) What were the major conclusions of the study? What are the implications of this study, both in terms of future psychological research and understanding social behavior out in the “real world”?
Make sure you don’t simply use the limitations described in the study—come up with your own.
(5) In your opinion:
What are the strengths and limitations of this research?
Could there have been modifications in the way the study was conducted?
What kind of “tips” would you have given the researchers with what you know?
(6) Form a conclusion about the value of the study.
How does it apply to our world today?
Was it valuable and/or informative?
How did it enhance the way you view current or historical experiences/events?
Note: Be sure to use in-text citations and provide references for your sources, including textbooks.

1. Describe at least two examples from the case study in which Mrs. Sims is using reinforcement in the classroom. For each example, explain whether her reinforcement techniques are effective in modifying student behavior, as well as identify if she is using positive or negative reinforcement.
2. Based on Bandura’s Social Cognitive Theory, describe one example in which vicarious reinforcement or vicarious punishment might be playing a role in this case study, and identify whether vicarious reinforcement or punishment is at play.
3. Do you see any potential issues in the way Mrs. Sims has students tutoring or assisting with teaching in class? If so, what are those potential issues?
Your post should be scholarly and comprehensive. Each initial post should be at least 500 words in length. Your goal is to convey your understanding of and ability to apply the concepts presented in this module. Keep in mind that your opinions must be anchored in accurate information gained from the module to demonstrate a sufficient understanding of the materials.
